Best Beaches Near Our Resort

One of the greatest pleasures of a coastal hotel stay is exploring the beaches that define the destination. Each beach has its own personality, from bustling social scenes to secluded stretches of pristine sand. Here is our curated guide to the best beaches near the resort, each offering a distinct experience.

The Main Beach: Steps from Your Door

Our resort’s signature beach offers the convenience of being just steps from your room with the quality of a world-class coastal experience. Soft white sand stretches for over a mile, and the gentle gradient of the shore creates ideal conditions for swimming.

Beach attendants set up complimentary loungers and umbrellas each morning. Our beachside bar serves refreshing cocktails, fresh juices, and light fare throughout the day. For more active pursuits, paddleboard and kayak rentals are available directly on the sand.

The best time to enjoy the main beach is early morning, when the sand is freshly raked and the light creates a golden glow across the water. Sunrise walks along the shoreline, with the resort as your backdrop, are among the most peaceful moments you will find during your stay.

The Cove: A Hidden Treasure

A fifteen-minute walk south along the coastal path leads to a sheltered cove that most visitors never discover. Protected by rocky outcrops on either side, this small beach offers calm, crystal-clear water perfect for snorkeling.

The rock formations create natural tide pools teeming with marine life, from colorful fish and sea urchins to small octopuses and crabs. Bring a mask and snorkel to explore the underwater world just offshore, where coral formations attract an abundance of tropical fish.

Pack a picnic from our deli counter before heading out. There are no facilities at the cove, which is part of its charm. A blanket, some provisions, and the sound of gentle waves against the rocks create an idyllic setting for a private beach day.

The Surf Beach: For the Adventurous

Ten minutes north by car, the surf beach attracts wave riders from around the region. Consistent swells and a sandy bottom make it suitable for surfers of all levels, from first-timers to experienced riders.

Several surf schools operate on this beach, offering lessons for guests who want to try the sport. Equipment rentals are also available if you prefer to paddle out on your own. Even if surfing is not your thing, watching the surfers navigate the waves from a beachside cafe makes for entertaining afternoon viewing.

The surf beach has a more energetic, youthful atmosphere compared to the serenity of the main beach. Beachside restaurants serve casual fare, from fish tacos to acai bowls, and the sunset views from the elevated boardwalk are among the best in the area.

The Nature Preserve Beach: Untouched Beauty

A twenty-minute drive brings you to a protected beach within a coastal nature preserve. This stretch of undeveloped coastline is one of the last remaining in the region and offers a glimpse of what the entire coast looked like before development.

Sea turtles nest on this beach during summer months, and the dunes are home to native vegetation and shorebirds. Wooden boardwalks guide visitors through the dune system to the beach, protecting the fragile ecosystem while providing easy access.

Swimming conditions vary depending on the tide and season, so check with the park ranger station before entering the water. Even if conditions are not ideal for swimming, the beach is perfect for long walks, birdwatching, and photography. The absence of development means unobstructed views in every direction, creating a profound sense of connection with the natural world.
